The French river system has both the excitement of rapids and the serenity of broad stretches of flat water, some nearly four kilometres wide and dotted with islands just waiting to be explored. Go for a leisurely paddle and have a picnic at beautiful Five Finger Rapids, try a Voyageur canoe trip or plan your own canoe tripping adventure.

Canoeing is a must try at any of our area Provincial Parks.

If you like kayaking, you’ll find one of the most popular kayaking locations in eastern Canada along the shoreline of Georgian Bay. Perfect for the beginner or intermediate level kayaker, Georgian Bay offers a variety of landscapes and scenery to explore.
